About Us

A note from the office of Dr. Brad R. Hobson (formerly Fred E. Anderson, DMD):

Dear Patients:
As I approach my 63rd Birthday, I have decided to make a big change in my life. After 36 years of practicing dentistry in Great Falls, I have decided to retire and transfer my dental practice to an outstanding young dentist.

On July 28, 2017. I will turn my practice over to Dr. Brad Hobson. This decision had to be kept confidential until I was certain that I had found the right person to care for you and to work with my wonderful staff. I have interviewed a number of dentists who have desired to take over my practice, but it wasn’t until I met Dr. Hobson that I felt comfortable with making the transition at this time.

Dr. Hobson is from Boise, Idaho. He obtained his DDS degree from Indiana School of Dentistry.  For the past several years he has been practicing in Lewiston, Idaho. He and his wife , Tiffany, and their three young children are excited to put down roots in Great Falls, and start enjoying all that our great city and surrounding area has to offer. When Dr. Hobson isn’t at the office, you can usually find him with his family hiking, camping, fishing, biking, skiing, or traveling.

Dr. Hobson and I are committed to making this transition as smooth as possible for you. He is a very capable dentist and a warm and caring person. I know I am leaving my loyal patients in good hands as he and I share the same patient-centered approach to dental care. I am excited that you will continue to see familiar faces at the office since all my talented staff will continue working in the practice. Dr. Hobson is in the process of signing up to accept the same dental insurance plans that we currently accept. All your dental records and x-rays will stay at my office and are available to him so he can continue your treatment.

Right after my family, my service to the community and to my profession has always been my highest priority. Therefore, I will continue to provide treatment for the very young patients requiring hospital anesthesia and the special needs adults who need their dental work done in the hospital setting. I have not yet worked out all the details, but will likely be doing consults at the office, and may still bump into you now and then. I am also on the Board of Directors of the Montana Dental Association and I will continue to serve my profession in that capacity.

I want to express my deep appreciation for your trust and confidence over the years and for allowing me the privilege of being your dentist. Now, the very best compliment you can give me is to extend that trust and confidence to Dr. Hobson. I will miss you, but leave feeling confident that Dr. Hobson will take excellent care of you. Thank you again.

Sincerely,
Fred E. Anderson
